What is the theme of this year's conference?

This year, we are focusing on equipping ministry workers and volunteers to faithfully serve the next generation and fulfil their mandate of sharing the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done (Psalm 78:4b).

Across four keynote sessions and one Q&A, we will unpack the following themes:

  • Thurs night:

    • Understanding the next generation: Why should we value ministry to youth and young adults? (Chien Chong Lim)

  • Fri night:

    • Reaching the next generation: What are the best ways of presenting the gospel to youth and young adults? (Joash Arnold)

  • Sat afternoon:

    • Teaching the next generation: How do we foster the spiritual maturity of youth and young adults through expository preaching? (Mark Catchpoole)

  • Sat evening:

    • Training the next generation: How do we motivate and train youth and young adults to consider the call of pastoral ministry? (Mark Thompson)

Who is the conference for?

The conference is designed for those serving and leading in small to medium sized local churches in the local area; campus ministry leaders; those involved in ministry to youth and young adults; those serving in churches with a 'second-generation' migrant demographic.

Is there a children's program?

Yes! There will be a children's program during all the sessions. The chapel also has an adjacent baby room where parents can sit with their young children and still be able to see and hear the speakers.

Where can I park my car?

There is ample parking space at Clayton Chinese Christian Church. However, carpooling is recommended for the Saturday sessions.
